🎂 Cake Smash Photography Session

A cake smash session is a fun and relaxed photo session created to celebrate your baby’s first birthday. It’s a beautiful way to capture this special milestone — from tiny smiles and curious expressions to messy hands and joyful moments.

Each session starts gently with a few natural family and sibling photos, giving your baby time to settle and feel comfortable. I work in a baby-led way, which means there’s no rushing or pressure. Your little one sets the pace, with parents close by and breaks whenever needed.

When your baby is ready, the cake smash begins naturally. Some babies explore slowly, others dive straight in — both are perfect. The focus is always on creating a calm, playful environment where your baby can simply be themselves.

• Optional splash or clean-up photos after the smash

• Password-protected online gallery after the session so you can choose your favourite images

• Optional homemade cake: We can arrange a homemade cake for your session. Beforehand, we’ll discuss flavour, ingredients (allergies considered), and design together, and I’ll take care of the rest — the cake will be ready and waiting for your baby on the day of the session.
